The Lynchburg Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office is located on the third floor of the Monument Terrace Building at 901 Church Street in Lynchburg, Virginia. This Building also houses the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court (1st floor), and the Court Services Unit (2nd floor). The Building is directly beside the Monument Terrace Steps and across the street from Lynchburg’s City Hall. The General District Court and the Circuit Court are located 1 block away on Court Street. Parking is available at no charge on the 3rd level of the public parking deck located at 9th and Clay Streets, behind the Public Safety Building.

Directions from the South (Danville)

RT 29 North / Lynchburg Expressway

Follow 29 North to Lynchburg. Take the Expressway Exit (29 North) just past the River Ridge Mall Entrance. Take Exit 1A (Downtown/Main Street) just before the Carter Glass Bridge. Take a right at top of exit and proceed North on Main Street. Take a left on 9th Street. Take the next left onto Church Street and the Monument Terrace Building is on your right.

Directions from the North (Charlottesville)

RT 29 South / Lynchburg Expressway

Follow 29 South to Lynchburg and cross Carter Glass Bridge. Take Exit 1A (Downtown/Main Street). Take a left at top of exit and proceed North on Main Street. Take a left on 9th Street. Take the next left onto Church Street and the Monument Terrace Building is on your right.

Directions from the East (Appomattox)

RT 460 West

Follow 460 West to Lynchburg. Take 501 North Business Exit to Campbell Avenue. Proceed North on Campbell Ave./501 Business and take the 29 North/Lynchburg Expressway Exit. Take Exit 1A (Downtown/Main Street) just before the Carter Glass Bridge. Take a right at top of exit and proceed North on Main Street. Take a left on 9th Street. Take the next left onto Church Street and the Monument Terrace Building is on your right.

Directions from the West (Roanoke)

RT 460 East

Follow 460 East and take the 29 North exit to Lynchburg. Take the Expressway Exit (29 North) past the River Ridge Mall Entrance.
