Exile’s Success Rate

Gun violence in America remains intolerably high. Of the 15,000 people murdered each year, 2/3 of the victims die at the hands of armed criminals.

The Virginia Exile program has given local prosecutors, law enforcement agencies, and the courts the tools and resources necessary to stop gun violence in our community. Over the past two years, Exile has helped communities mobilize to get the word out on the street that gun violence will not be tolerated.

Since the program’s inception, the Lynchburg Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office has obtained over 100 convictions on Exile-related charges. For more information on the success of Exile throughout the state, click here.
